Class Banner Competition
Banner Competition
Class banners have been a Hopkins tradition for more than 100 years. Each year, the incoming class is challenged to design a banner that will represent their class in perpetuity.
Check out the Annual Class Banner Competition page to learn more about the competition. Check out the winning banners from the Classes of 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028!

Class Rings and the caRING Program
Johns Hopkins students, depending on their number of credits completed, are eligible to purchase the Official Johns Hopkins University Ring. Learn about the history of the ring, how to purchase one, and the annual ring presentation ceremony.
Find out about the caRING program, where one student from each Johns Hopkins division, who has excelled in leadership activities and positively impacted the campus and/or the community while in school, will be awarded a complimentary Celestrium Hopkins ring. Applications are due by Friday, February 14, 2025 at 11:59pm ET. If you have any questions, please email Annie Koogle at akoogle1@jhu.edu.
Student Grants
The Alumni Association provides over $65,000 annually for student groups and student volunteer experiences at all divisions of the university. The 2024-2025 grants cycle has closed, but check back in Fall 2025 for details on the 2025-2026 submission season.
Alumni Student Ambassadors (ASAs)
Alumni Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students who serve as important connectors between current students and alumni. Throughout the year, these leaders serve as student representatives at a variety of events and meetings with external and internal constituents.
Reunion Homecoming Ambassadors (RHAs)
Reunion Student Ambassadors serve as important connectors between current students and Homewood undergraduate alumni attending their class reunions. Throughout the year, they serve as student representatives at events and meetings leading up to spring's Alumni Weekend. Email reunion@jhu.edu.
