Important security changes to alumni login process - Spring 2024

Dear Johns Hopkins alumni: 

We wanted to communicate an important change to the login process to sites that our alumni frequently access, including: 
 

• alumni.jhu.edu: to access alumni email accounts and KnowledgeNET (the online alumni library)
• events.jhu.edu: to register for alumni events 
• giving.jhu.edu: to make donations to Johns Hopkins
   

In Spring 2024, the Johns Hopkins’ technology and security teams implemented ways to better safeguard the Johns Hopkins online alumni environment. Those methods include a new login process for the alumni sites mentioned above. 

Between May 13 - May 29, 2024 (before 2:30 PM ET) all alumni who access alumni.jhu.edu, events.jhu.edu, and giving.jhu.edu will need to create a new password to login.
 
After 2:30 PM ET on May 29, 2024, you will login to these sites using your alumni email address, YourJHEDID@alumni.jh.edu as your username, and that same password that you created between May 13 - May 29. If you did not reset your password between May 13 and May 29 (2:30 PM ET), please reset your password here: alumni.jhu.edu/resetpassword.  

December 2023 Graduates:
If you previously completed the first-time login process but experience issues accessing your account, please reset your password. If you have not yet completed the first-time login process, you must contact the Office of Alumni Relations immediately to provide us with a secondary email address so that you can set your password to activate your account. The first-time login instructions that you received before May 29 will no longer work.
