Bloomberg, Biden, Bono among luminaries at School of Public Health centennial celebration in New York
Bloomberg Philanthropies and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health hosted a dinner on Monday evening in Manhattan to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Bloomberg School. The evening's highlights included a series of awards to luminaries who have made major contributions to public health around the globe.
Attendees included former New York City mayor and 1964 JHU graduate Michael R. Bloomberg, who last week announced a $300 million gift to the School of Public Health; Johns Hopkins University President Ronald J. Daniels; and Michael J. Klag, dean of the Bloomberg School. Read more.
