Song Hia, A&S '05 Biography

Song is exploring new uses of technology to better connect people as a master’s candidate at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) and organizing fast-paced talks for Ignite NYC. Previously he developed and managed operations and process at Percolate, an enterprise content marketing technology company. Prior to that, he led teams to make cool stuff on the internet for brands as an interactive producer and strategist in digital marketing agencies and explored the intersection of culture and technology as a radio producer for Mario Armstrong and Baltimore NPR affiliate WYPR. While at JHU he organized the Johns Hopkins Film Festival and played music no one listened to from the basement of McCoy Hall while relaunching WJHU as an internet-streaming radio station.
