Hopkins Los Angeles: NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Tour & Lunch - SOLD OUT

Hopkins Los Angeles
Due to popular demand, we are bringing back this great behind the scenes opportunity for alumni and friends! On the approximately two-hour tour of the NASA Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) in Pasadena, you'll see:
1) a replica of the current Mars rover
2) the Space Flight Operations Facility, which communicates with NASA and many international satellites orbiting Earth and in deep space
3) the Mars Yard area where remote control rover simulation takes place in an environment simulating the Martian landscape
4) the Spacecraft Assembly Facility (SAF) clean room where spacecraft are put together
5) the official JPL Museum where items from the moon and space are displayed along with models of many spacecraft (including full-scale versions)
This behind the scenes tour will be led by Johns Hopkins alumni currently working at JPL and will provide an opportunity to see things not normally available to the general public! Lunch with the group will follow immediately after the tour has completed.
Touring JPL requires a background check from NASA. If you are not a US citizen, please indicate the nationality of the passport you hold so we can work to expedite your registration for this event.
This tour will cover approximately 2-3 miles of the campus so please dress appropriately with the correct footwear to assure your comfort during the tour.
