In her role as a Health Communications Specialist at the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), Ms. Finegold designs, manages, and analyzes research for NINR’s Pediatric Palliative Care Campaign. She also develops and executes communication and outreach plans as well as educational materials to support NINR events and activities. Additionally, Ms. Finegold supports the team in digital analytics and web design. She has been at NINR since December 2014.
Prior to joining the NINR staff, Ms. Finegold was a Research Manager at the Advertising Council in New York, where she managed the formative and evaluation research of approximately ten public service communications campaigns focusing on public health issues ranging from child passenger safety to safe gun storage to women’s heart disease.
Before working at the Ad Council, Ms. Finegold did consumer protection regulatory work with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Tobacco Products and the Federal Trade Commission’s Division of Advertising Practices.
Ms. Finegold has a Master of Science in Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the George Washington University.
