In 2010, Sara Farber founded Galactic Sneeze, the Brooklyn-based “fun stuff think tank” with her husband, Bryan Wilson. The duo just launched their debut product: Schmovie, The Hilarious Game of Outlandish Films; it has already garnered a cult-like following on Facebook.
Sara’s a big kid who’s spent the past seventeen years creating fun stuff for little kids. She’s worn many hats in her career, serving as Director of Content Design at Fisher-Price/Mattel (toy hats), Manager of Global Product Development at VTech (VHats) and Interactive Producer at Sesame Workshop (furry hats). She has also collaborated with Gund, Hasbro, Spin Master, and WowWee to create toys, games, and intellectual properties. Sara has written dialogue, jokes, and song lyrics for countless popular characters, including: Dora the Explorer, Penguins of Madagascar, Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Sesame Street, and SpongeBob SquarePants.
Sara has a BA in Behavioral Biology from The Johns Hopkins University and an MA in Human Development from Teachers College, Columbia University. She’s also taken Sketch Comedy Writing and Improv at Upright Citizens Brigade. Sara is fluent in Muppet.
