Johns Hopkins ranked among nation's best colleges and universities by 'U.S. News'
Johns Hopkins University continues to be one of the nation's best colleges and universities, according to the new U.S. News & World Report annual rankings, released Tuesday. JHU ranks 11th overall and is also recognized by the publication as a best value for students, for its stellar reputation among high school guidance counselors, for its ethnic and economic diversity, and as a top engineering school.
JHU's recognition by U.S. News follows its inclusion among the world's top schools in several prominent global university rankings that focus on research and overall academic excellence. Last week, Times Higher Education ranked Johns Hopkins No. 9 among U.S. universities and No. 13 globally in its annual world university rankings.
