Bay Area alumni came together on November 16 for a hands-on cooking class to learn how to cook a festive fall meal. The menu included cranberry shallot biscuits, arugula, delicata squash and pomegranate salad, cider-glazed roast chicken with root vegetables, and profiteroles with homemade chocolate sauce.

The final "Welcome to Our City" party of the year took place in Boston on November 12 at Scholars Boston Bistro. These "Welcome to Our City" parties welcomed recent grads and other new-to-the-city alumni to each of their respective cities.

The JHU Arts, Entertainment, Media, and Entrepreneurship Affinity hosted a Social Media State of Mind 4x4 event on November 6 in New York City. During this 4x4 "fourum" (four experts/four minutes/forum), social media industry professionals spoke briefly about their work as well as trends, challenges, and the future of social media.
