Several JHU lacrosse alumni spent time in August reliving their playing days at the Lake Placid Summit in Lake Placid, NY.
Megan Morrow (front), A&S ’15, and Jackie Starrett, Engr ’15, hopped on their bikes this summer and took a 4,000-mile journey across America for cancer. The trip took 70 days, and they raised more than $5,500.

Morrow, pictured here, holds her bike up in celebration after reaching the Pacific Ocean in Seattle all the way from Baltimore, MD. The trip took 70 days, and they raised more than $5,500.
On August 22, alumni in the Los Angeles, CA area took a tour of the NASA Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena.

Alumni in Tampa Bay, FL enjoyed an evening of poetry, fiction, porters and IPAs featuring Erica Dawson (A&S ’01), Assistant Professor of English at the University of Tampa and Tristan Davies, Senior Lecturer of Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University. The event featured live readings from the two accomplished writers, followed by a tasting reception at Coppertail Brewing Co.
The Hopkins New Orleans crew came together on August 13 for the 2nd Annual Savor a Little Louisiana Flavor event at the iconic institution, Mid-City Lanes, home of Rock N' Bowl.
