Science and Science Fiction Meet: The Martian Movie Watch - SOLD OUT
JHU Aerospace Affinity
We have arranged for a private Hopkins screening of The Martian in 3-D at the Laurel Towne Centre theater – the new ones with those lovely leather reclining seats. Reviews of the movie have been excellent; both for maintaining the integrity and humor of the best-seller Andy Weir novel on which it is based, and for the accuracy of the science depicted. After the show, we will gather at the nearby BJ’s Brewhouse for a discussion led by aerospace and systems experts to discover the truth about what is fact and what is fiction.
The $20 registration fee covers the movie ticket, your first drink, party platter food at BJ’s, and our aerospace and systems experts! This event HAS REACHED capacity.
