Join the Arts, Entertainment, Media & Entrepreneurship Affinity as they host a welcome for new JHU grads to NYC from 2-4pm. All alums are invited (new and not so new) for an afternoon of friendly competition, drinking and networking. If you are interested in the AEME Affinity, connecting to other Hopkins alumni, or just want to shuffle - join us! Discover Gowanus and discover what all the buzz is about. This 17,000-square-foot, seventies-Palm Beach-themed extravaganza houses ten courts, private cabanas, two 27-foot bars and loads of fun.Your registration fee includes:

• a trained shuffleboard pro to teach us the game, the rules, scoring, technique and strategy (like when to snuggle your biscuits...)
• reserved shuffleboard courts 
• private cabanas 
• unlimited beer and wine - they have a wide selection of micro-brewed craft beers on draught, Cabernet or Sauvignon Blanc wine.

Royal Palms features a roster of NYC’s best food trucks, so you may want to bring a few extra dollars if you want to grab a bite to eat while you’re there. Please note that flat, closed toe shoes are recommended if you plan to shuffle and please arrive promptly if you want to play.
