JHU Law Affinity: Boston launch featuring Jay Shepherd, A&S '88
JHU Law Affinity: Boston
Join Michael J. Ross, A&S,'01, Clark, Hunt, Ahern & Embry and Jennifer V. Doran, A&S '98, Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP and other fellow Johns Hopkins area alumni in law for the launch of the JHU Law Affinity gathering in Boston. Similar gatherings in other cities have led to lively conversations and many new connections. In addition to networking, the evening will feature Hopkins alumnus and public speaker Jay Shepherd.
Forbes magazine recently named "lawyer" as the unhappiest job in America. Why are lawyers more miserable than other people? Most lawyers are good at what they do. And that may just be the reason they're unhappy. But it doesn't have to be that way. Writer, speaker, and recovering lawyer Jay Shepherd (A&S 1988) will teach you the five steps you can take to find your outstandingness (admittedly not a real word, but you get the idea) and be happier doing what you do, inside or outside the practice of law.
Hosted by Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP. Refreshments will be provided.
