Join us on June 21st for a private wine tasting with Hound's Tree, Long Island's newest estate winery. Hound's Tree's winemaker, Alex Rosanelli (JHU Class of 2012), and General Manager, Mathew Brown (JHU Class of 2012), will pour through Hound's Tree's 2015 vintage, while educating guests on each wine, Alex's wine-making technique, and what makes Long Island such a unique wine region. Afterwards, guests will have the chance to revisit wines by the glass, peruse the fine art displayed at ClampArt, and enjoy light bites.

Hound's Tree is an estate winery based on the North Fork of Long Island. Founded in 2015 in partnership with Apolloni Vineyards, a family-owned grower producer of premium Pinot Noir in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Hound's Tree brings two decades of West Coast winemaking experience to the unique maritime terroir of Long Island. We currently grow French and American clones of Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, with an average vine age of over 20 years. In past harvests, fruit from our vineyard has gone into some of the most awarded wines in New York State. Our small production estate bottling’s seek to express the unique microclimate created between Long Island Sound and the Atlantic Ocean, where cool summers and warm falls help to achieve balanced and expressive wines, with unique elegance and finesse. We hope you’ll enjoy.
