Get to know and listen to the world’s most celebrated classical musicians as they prepare for upcoming performances from Carnegie Hall and La Scala to Lincoln Center. PREformances with Allison Charney (PEABODY '91) is a concert series that breaks down the traditional barrier between performer and audience, offering the rare opportunity to hear amazing talents in a welcoming and approachable setting. The series welcomes violinist Laura Goldberg, pianists Joel Fan and Craig Ketter and conductor, Barbara Day Turner for an exciting preview of upcoming concerts featuring of music of our times. Composers Kim D Sherman and Moshe Knoll will be on hand to hear their works being performed.
Funds raised through patron support of the PREformances program will support both The Basser Research Center at the University of Pennsylvania and special programs at The JCC in Manhattan that promote early detection of cancer and care for those living with breast and ovarian cancer.
