Rock Climb, Network, Eat & Drink! with JHU Alumni Affinities

introducing the new JHU Outdoor Explorations Affinity

This event was so popular last August, it's worth a repeat! This time, the JHU Aerospace Affinity is collaborating with our newest JHU Outdoor Explorations Affinity for a great afternoon. Whether you are a 100% beginner or an experienced climber, we are inviting JHU alumni to enjoy some vertical adventure and talk space, outdoor adventures (or anything else!) From 3:00pm - 5:00pm, we have secured a private section of Earth Treks Climbing Center in Rockville. Either learn to climb in a completely relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere, or group up with other "seasoned" JHU climbers for an exhilarating challenge. After the climb, join us for food and drink - your first drink is on us!  This fun alumni gathering is designed for you to corral your Hopkins network and to make new JHU friends.

Don't/won't climb? No worries - if a vertical ascent is a spectator sport for you, either come and watch or simply meet up at Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant for an after-climb gathering from 5:00pm - 6:30pm. We will be taking ideas for future events, so if you have an aerospace or outdoor topic you would like to suggest, bring it!
