Roper Solutions, Inc.
Roper Solutions, Inc. is a woman and veteran-owned technology company founded in 2018 that is revolutionizing the IoT and wearables market with high performance, cost-effective sensing and communicating technologies.
Conceptualized by CEO and JHU alum Maeve Garigan (B.S. 2001, M.A. 2008) and joining forces with fellow JHU alum and retired Navy SEAL Commander Dana De Coster (M.I.P.P. 2012), Roper is investor-backed and has won multiple highly competitive federal and state grants, including National Science Foundation (NSF) and New Mexico Small Business Assistance awards. Roper was also the grand prize winner of the JHU Carey School Student Startup Competition in 2019.
Roper has filed multiple patents on intellectual property related to ultra-low-power sensor packages with edge computing for health, activity and geolocation analytics and secure ultra-low-power ad-hoc mesh networking. Currently in beta prototyping, we are planning the commercial launch of our livestock monitoring product in 2021.
