Project Balance, a small woman-owned company, was founded in 2003 with the mission of providing project management, business analysis, quality assurance, and strategic information services. Project Balance and its staff have a depth of experience in monitoring and evaluation and developing data-driven programs, software applications and business analytics platforms. As partners or sub-contractors to universities and NGOs in the international development space, we build innovative strategic information tools and run monitoring and evaluation initiatives in support of CDC, USAID and other international programs. Project Balance excels at project implementation. Our adaptive and interactive approach optimizes the team’s skills and keeps the team focused on delivering quality products and services. Our team takes a participatory approach towards understanding and defining the requirements of the project; we work with the key stakeholders to evaluate their business needs, their business culture, and existing processes to ensure the proposed solution meets their needs to improve access to and use of data. We have experience analyzing very large datasets and defining a data structure to ensure high performance when querying the data. Project Balance works closely with clients to specify business rules for each key performance indicator and ensures that calculations as well as the visual display are accurate.
