The AFRO-American Co. of Baltimore City, Inc. is a global media company headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. Founded in 1892 by John H. Murphy, Sr., its flagship product, the AFRO-American Newspaper, is the oldest continuously published Black newspaper in the nation. The AFRO has a robust digital and social media presence, and covers news in the DMV and around the world.
