Why is Johns Hopkins conducting a survey?
Johns Hopkins is conducting an all-alumni survey to better understand the experiences, needs, and interests of our alumni community. Your feedback helps us strengthen alumni programming, enhance career and networking resources, and ensure we’re offering meaningful opportunities to stay connected — both with each other and with the university. Your voice directly shapes the future of alumni engagement at Hopkins.
When was the last time alumni received a survey?
The last time Johns Hopkins conducted an all-alumni survey was 7 years ago.
To whom will the survey go?
The 2025 Alumni Survey will go to all Johns Hopkins alumni who have updated email addresses and have opted to receive emails from us. Alumni who do not receive a personalized link can still participate in the survey through the generic survey link.
How long will the survey run?
The survey will run for approximately three weeks, starting May 20th through mid June. Alumni will receive an initial invitation and two reminders via email to complete the survey. The survey closed on June 23rd.
Who is the company that's conducting the survey on behalf of Johns Hopkins?
Johns Hopkins is partnering with Marts&Lundy, a leader in higher education consulting, to manage the 2025 Alumni Survey.
Will my information remain confidential?
Yes. Information that you share with Johns Hopkins will not be shared with any third parties. Johns Hopkins will use your answers as a basis for improvements to the resources and programming it offers to the alumni community.
I have never donated to Hopkins nor participated in an event. Why would you want to hear from me?
This survey is a chance to give all Johns Hopkins alumni a voice – regardless of whether they attend events, follow us on social media, or donate. It’s important that we hear from alumni who have varied experiences with Johns Hopkins so that we can better serve the community in the future.
I didn't receive a personalized link. Can I still participate in the survey?
Yes! Alumni who do not receive a personalized email can still participate using the generic survey link.
What will you do with my answers? Will you share responses with the Hopkins community at some point?
Yes! We will issue a report with survey results later in 2025. Those answers will guide us as we develop social, educational, and career opportunities for the alumni community and better direct us to the best ways to share those opportunities with you.
