Rocking, Roping, & Wine on Sugarloaf Mountain

Start Date

Hosted by JHU Outdoor Explorations Affinity

Join fellow JHU alumni and take a break from the August heat on top of beautiful Sugarloaf Mountain just outside of Frederick, MD. We will again be led by Anne Hobson, A&S 2012, and the professional staff at Sportrock Climbing; no experience is necessary (Must be at least 8 years old to climb).

Rocking and Roping will take place from 9 am – 12 noon. Attendees are encouraged to pack a lunch and picnic at the base of the mountain at the Sugarloaf Vineyard! Your $40 registration fee includes the rocking and roping, wine tasting at the Winery, and - weather permitting - live music from 2 – 5pm. Make a day of it and enjoy the hazy days of summer with a little outdoor fun!
