John M. DeMaggio

John M. DeMaggio retired as a Special Agent in Charge and served as Co-chairman, Investigative Support and Forensic Subgroup, Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) now known as the Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office, (CTTSO) , developing interagency counterterrorism technology. A retired Captain from the US Naval Reserve Intelligence Program, he holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Forensic Science from John Jay College and a Master’s of Science from the Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering. He served as the Department of Defense - Office of the Inspector General and US Postal Service -Office of the Inspector General representative to the FBI-Communications Assistance to Law Enforcement Act (CALEA) law enforcement forum and was detailed to the FBI- CALEA Implementation Section for 18 month working with law enforcement, industry and government to implement CALEA.  Privately consulting in management, counterterrorism, forensic science and investigations, he has also conducted international counterterrorism training for the US State Dept.
