Stephen Goldstein Biography

Stephen Goldstein, Life Sciences Director for Sapient Government Services 

Stephen is the Life Sciences Director for Sapient Government Services.  Stephen has extensive experience designing, architecting, and managing projects across the life sciences and technology domains, and has supported a wide range of programs spanning multiple disciplines.  Over the past 15 years, Stephen has worked with several government agencies and high tech clients to support laboratory informatics, business process automation, disease data management, and life sciences program management.  Stephen has supported several major Electronic Health Records efforts, including current work at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) where he and his team have designed and implemented an oncology extended EHR solution to support a groundbreaking effort to analyze available clinical data (not just clinical trials data) to rapidly update and extend oncology guidelines and guidance.   Mr. Goldstein was also the original project lead on the National Database for Autism Research (NDAR), the HHSInnovates 2011 award winner and one of the more successful bioinformatics systems in place today, with exceptional adoption rates from across the autism community, and has been responsible for designing and developing the Accountable Care Organization roadmap for Sapient Government Services.  Mr. Goldstein’s work stretches across basic science to clinical trials work to clinical care and laboratory information management.   Stephen graduated with honors from Haverford College with a degree in Economics.
