COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICIES 

Our top priority is your health and safety. Alumni Weekend will follow all university and local COVID-19 guidelines. 


All attendees must either show Proof of Full COVID-19 Vaccination or perform a negative rapid test on-campus daily. 


To show proof of full vaccination: 
Upon arrival and before entering the Welcome Tent, attendees with proof of vaccination will show their proof of vaccination card.


Valid forms of documentation include: 

• An original CDC Vaccination Card 
• A digital photograph or photo copy of CDC Vaccination Card (one side) 
• Your state’s verification app showing proof of vaccination 
   

Wristbands:
Attendees will receive wristbands that must be worn at all times while on campus. Attendees who show proof of vaccination only need to check in one time during the weekend. You will receive all three wristbands at that time.

There will be a different colored wristband for each day.
Friday – White.
Saturday – Blue. 
Sunday – Black.


Daily Rapid Tests:
If you do not have proof of vaccination in your possession (including guests under 5 years old): 
Upon arrival, proceed to testing check-in, located on the Decker Quad, adjacent to the main tent and on the east side (Malone Hall side).

Attendees who do not have proof of vaccination in their possession must test daily 
Attendees who test negative will be issued a wristband daily 
Attendees who test positive will be asked to leave campus immediately 


Mask and Other Policies: 
Masks are optional indoors if you are vaccinated and boosted.
However, masks will be required for alumni and guests attending lectures/HopTalks. Masks will be optional for presenters at lectures/Hoptalks if they are able to maintain a 6-foot distance from others in the room.

Most events with food and drink will be held outside in tents with heat and flooring to allow for proper ventilation. 

We know that many people hold strong personal feelings about masking. We thus encourage our guests to continue masking if that makes them more comfortable or if they have particular circumstances that influence their personal level of risk.


To be considered fully vaccinated, attendees must meet the below requirements: 
At least 2 weeks have passed after their second dose in a two-dose vaccination series, such as Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, OR 2 weeks have passed after their single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson/Jansen.  If more than 6 months have passed since the second dose of a two-dose series OR more than 2 months have passed since the single-dose vaccine, they must have received a booster shot.
