Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum Tour - SOLD OUT

JHU Arts, Entertainment, Media and Entrepreneurship (AEME) Affinity
Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum is the only museum in the nation devoted exclusively to historic and contemporary design. The Museum presents compelling perspectives on the impact of design on daily life through active educational and curatorial programming. Our 45-minute private tour will include "Tools: Extending Our Reach" which is a limited engagement exhibit displaying items from 11 Smithsonian Museums and showcasing 30 centuries of design.
The museum is housed in the landmark Carnegie Mansion, former home of industrial magnate Andrew Carnegie. The sixty-four-room mansion, built from 1899 to 1902, is an impressive testament to the desire of Carnegie and his wife to build a spacious, comfortable, and light-filled home in which to raise their young daughter. A bonus to the "official" exhibit!
