Johns Hopkins graduate programs gain top national rankings

Johns Hopkins graduate programs were once again ranked among the nation's very best according to the U.S. News & World Report.

Public health, nursing, medicine, biomedical engineering maintain top positions and education, engineering programs move up in annual 'U.S. News' rankings of the Best Graduate Schools.

The U.S. News Best Graduate Schools rankings, released today, are based on a number of indicators, including an institution's global and national reputation, publications and citations, research statistics, admitted student information, and other factors.

Bloomberg School of Public Health master's and doctoral programs were once again ranked No. 1, while the School of Nursing master's degree programs also took top billing and were ranked No. 1. The School of Medicine also gained top rankings for their research-oriented medical schools which claimed second place among while its internal medicine, surgery, radiology, and anesthesiology programs were all ranked No. 1.
