Join fellow JHU alumni and friends to celebrate the history of wine in Virginia with exclusive evening tours of the Mansion and cellar, appearances by George and Martha Washington, and a live blues band. Bring a blanket or chair, relax on the east lawn overlooking the scenic Potomac River, and sample wines made in Virginia.

During tours of the Mansion, visit the cellar where Washington stored his wine and learn about the successes and failures of our Founding Father’s endeavors with wine.

Outside food and beverages are not allowed. A variety of hot and cold food and desserts including baguettes, gourmet sandwiches, and specialty sweets will be available on site for purchase from the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant.
