Over 132 million patients in the United States are recommended for annual preventative exams, especially those with a history of diabetes or high blood pressure. Less than 50% of this population will see a specialist to receive their screening resulting in debilitating comorbidities. However, most of these patients do see primary care physicians (PCPs) annually. The problem isn’t technical, it’s behavioral. Patients won’t see a specialist until there’s a problem and by then, it’s often too late.

We’ve developed a smart, telemedicine PaaS, enabling PCPs to record and refer specialty exams to local specialists for assisted review. We do the heavy lifting with computer vision and machine learning to ensure image quality and content regardless of hardware selection. PCPs can refer videos over our HIPAA compliant cloud-based platform to local specialists for diagnostic support with confidence. The PCPs create new revenue streams through fractionated reimbursements and government incentives, and Specialists earn revenue while sourcing qualified leads and increasing screening capacity without the need for in-person appointments in a non-adherent population.
