Regional Communities

Regional Communities are your gateway to connecting with your local Hopkins community. With 50 U.S. and international groups, you can build new friendships, enjoy social gatherings, explore professional opportunities, and give back through volunteer events—all close to home.

Interest Communities

Shared Interest Communities offer a meaningful way to connect with fellow alumni around shared identities and passions—regardless of class year, school, or location. From groups like Women of Hopkins to 8:32 Society, there’s a vibrant community waiting for you. All members of the Johns Hopkins community are welcomed to participate.

Industry Communities

Connect with Hopkins alumni though our industry communities, covering Arts, Media, and Entertainment; Finance; Government and Policy; Medicine and Healthcare; and Technology.

Young Alumni Communities (YACs)

Based in seven cities across the United States, YACs create community between Homewood undergraduate alumni who graduated fewer than 10 years ago through customized programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events.

Alumni Council member Guillermo Ortiz recalls the impact of the the inaugural Johns Hopkins Alumni Identity and Equity Summit and its goal to not only reconnect the Hopkins community, but reignite the collective promise to inclusive excellence.
