JHU Pride Alumni

Mission Statement

Our mission is to create a community for our LGBTQ alumni. Include, empower, embrace, connect, and celebrate what makes us Hopkins. We are One JHU. All members of the Johns Hopkins community are welcomed to participate.

Research. World. Community. Excellence.

Those are the words heard most when Hopkins was described by faculty, staff, students, alumni, trustees, and people from all corners of the university. This page serves JHU's LGBTQ alumni and the greater Johns Hopkins community.

Launched in 2013, Pride develops and hosts a wide range of activities from networking, to speaker/panel discussions, to concerts. Pride also hosts its annual Pride Brunch during Johns Hopkins' All-Alumni Weekend each spring, bringing together alumni, students and friends at Gertrude’s Chesapeake Kitchen at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Programming is driven by our alumni volunteers.

Pride is an evolving group and welcomes all alumni volunteers passionate about building community and connecting with other Hopkins alumni and students.

All Johns Hopkins community members are welcomed to participate.
