Entire photos will not be published; instead, objects will be cut out scrapbook-style. To increase the likelihood of your image being used, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Photograph your item against a solid color background. For example, you might photograph a mug on a table in front of a blank wall, or you might photograph a t-shirt by laying it on the floor.
- If possible, aim for a high-contrast background. If your object is black, a white or otherwise light-colored background would work best.
- Make sure the item is well-lit. Lighting should be even–we want to see the whole object! A well-lit room would work best, but using a flash is fine, too.
- Make sure the entire item is in the frame.
- For mugs: make sure the handle is showing
- For t-shirts: make sure the sleeves are visible
- No grainy or blurry photos
