Susan McCarter has been an adjunct professor in the Department of Near Eastern Studies at Johns Hopkins since 1988. She has also taught for more than 20 years in the non-credit Osher and Odyssey programs, as well as in the Masters of Liberal Arts degree program. Her background is in Mediterranean Studies (Prehistoric Archaeology) with a focus on the Neolithic period.
