Over 900 alumni live in the San Diego area and enjoy access to a wide range of activities through the San Diego Chapter. Johns Hopkins alumni gather each fall for the annual Maryland Crab Feast.

Other past events have included a private tour of the Mount Palomar Observatory, a trip to the USS Tarawa, art gallery receptions, theater shows, and faculty lectures.
