Johns Hopkins Carey Business School hosts hackathon for Baltimore high school students

The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School hosted a daylong hackathon for Baltimore City Public Schools students on Nov. 22, an intensive computer programming experience sponsored by IBM.

The event was organized in cooperation with Carey Business School students and Carey Net Impact, the school's service and community leadership organization. More than 40 students from Western High School and Baltimore Polytechnic Institute came together to develop software applications using IBM's Bluemix platform.
