Where is the best place to buy textbooks?
The best place to sell them?
Textbooks.com was my go-to place to buy and sell textbooks.

What was your favorite internship/professional experience? How did you find it? For three summers during undergrad, I was a clinical research intern at the Diabetes Center at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. I was very fortunate to find this position! During winter break of my sophomore year, I e-mailed approximately 30 physicians at CHOP whose research interests matched my interests asking if they had any paid summer internship opportunities. Between 5-10 physicians responded, most of them saying that they could not offer a paid position. However, Dr. Steven Willi, director of the Diabetes Center, responded saying that he would love to have a student from him alma mater work for him! Before I received that e-mail, I didn't even know Dr. Willi had received his B.S. and M.D. from Hopkins. Dr. Willi has become a wonderful mentor for me, and I enjoyed every minute of the time I spent working at CHOP.

Where is the best place to eat on campus? As a freshman, FFC is great, but when you get tired of pizza and burgers, my favorite spots right off-campus were Carma's and Chocolatea.

What's the best DIY dorm food? Peanut butter-and-banana sandwiches.

What campus tradition should 2017s not miss being a part of? Spring Fair!

Are there any Hopkins terms/quirks 2017s should learn prior to heading to campus? If you're from the PA/NJ area, you should know that "Wawa" is the name of fraternity, not your favorite convenience store.

What should 2017s do to get the true Baltimore experience? Get off campus! Go to an Orioles game (Friday nights are student nights), eat at any one of Baltimore's amazing restaurants, make a weekly trip to the farmer's market, etc.
