The Johns Hopkins Women in Business Affinity Group (WIB) works to build a comprehensive network of women professionals at various career levels and across industries by engaging alumni, students and friends of the university in a variety of activities which provide the opportunity for professional advancement and personal development.

The inaugural Women in Business Affinity Group Conference, “Remarkable Women: Leadership Strategies for 2013”, which was held on March 22, presented a program that inspired, informed and empowered participants. The title reflected the theme of the conference and addressed the question—In an ever-changing world how can one enhance their current skill-set and fully leverage their own remarkable qualities and strengths today and in the future? The day’s agenda offered a range of sessions and discussions which  built new skills, challenged participants to reassess their own “tool-kit” and fostered new connections with other successful and creative women.
