Josh Feinman Biography
Josh Feinman ’84
Joshua Feinman is chief economist and managing director of Deutsche Asset Management in the Americas. He is responsible for providing timely analysis to portfolio managers and clients around the world regarding global macroeconomic trends and their implications for the financial markets. Dr. Feinman’s career includes positions at Bankers Trust Company in New York and the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, DC where he was a global market economist responsible for advising managers of fixed income, equity and foreign exchange activities in the US, Europe and Far East. He was also economist, and subsequently senior economist, in the Division of Monetary Affairs. A frequent guest on financial television programs including CNBC, CNN and Nightly Business Report, Feinman has also had several monetary and financial articles published in academic journals and Federal Reserve publications. Dr. Feinman received a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Brown University.
