Matt Gross is the editor Bon Appetit.com In the past eight years, he has been writing about travel and food for the New York Times, Saveur, Afar, Gourmet, Men's Health, and numerous other publications, both print and online. He has visited more than 50 countries and produced at least 200 features, columns, and videos about everything from the cuisines of Myanmar, Taipei, and Abruzzo to the running culture of Kenya and the commune life in Wisconsin. As the Frugal Traveler columnist for The New York Times, he roamed the world in search of high-end experiences on a low-end budget, and turned his adventures into feature articles, blog posts, and online videos for a readership in the millions. He also blogs about parenting at DadWagon.com. Matt Gross is the author of the forthcoming travel memoir The Turk Who Loved Apples: And Other Tales of Losing My Way Around the World.
