Introducing the new alumni.jhu.edu!
Welcome to our new alumni site!
We are excited to introduce you to our site's new look. In redesigning the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association website, we took advantage of feedback from our alumni, the latest content management technologies, and current Johns Hopkins branding guidelines to create a new, more user-friendly experience. This update advances the framework of our site to utilize modern web features such as mobile-responsive design (open the site on your smartphone or simply resize your browser window to see the magic happen) and provides us with advanced tools to inform and connect our alumni.
While the look is certainly different, users of our Alumni Connect portal will also notice some changes in functionality. A driving force behind this upgrade was the desire to consolidate and simplify features such as the Alumni Directory and KnowledgeNet access. This continues the trend started by the launch of our alumni networking site GoHopOnline.com.

Logging in to the site
Your alumni services now center around a single site-wide login that can be accessed on our homepage. This login will allow you to access features like Hopkins KnowledgeNet as well as private pages for Alumni Council members. You will see the login form below our rotating featured content. Simply use your JHED ID or email and password to access alumni-only features.
If this is your first time logging in...
If you have never accessed alumni-only features or are visiting the new site for the first time, you will need to perform a first-time login. To do so, simply:
- locate and click on the First Time Login link next to the username and password fields on the main page of our site
- follow the prompts and choose the appropriate first-time login link (Alumni, Faculty/Staff/Other) or you may choose to reset your password
You will be asked to enter personal information to identify your account and your login information will be emailed to you. Users who do not have an email address on file will be asked to provide an email address during the verification process. If you are unable to access your account using these options, please review the help section of the website for additional options.
Accessing the Alumni Directory
Our alumni directory has moved to our new Hopkins-only networking site GoHopOnline.com. To access GoHopOnline.com and alumni directory features, click the link for Alumni Directory in either the header of the site or the main menu bar. You will need to create a new account for the site if you have not already. This quick process will give you access to networking features, job postings, and other exclusive content.
Accessing Hopkins KnowledgeNet
After logging in through the main page of the site, you may access the library services provided to our alumni via Hopkins KnowledgeNet. Click the link for Alumni Library in the header of the site or select Hopkins KnowledgeNet from under Education & Travel in the site's main menu.
Accessing the Alumni Council members-only portal
After logging in through the main page of the site, the Alumni Council portal for members-only content can be accessed by clicking the Alumni Council link the footer of the site. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the link in the left-most menu.
