SAIS Dean Vali Nasr has a new book: The Dispensable Nation: American Foreign Policy in Retreat. It's described by the New York Times as "part diplomatic memoir, part policy analysis" from Nasr's stint in the Obama State Department. It's "sharply critical" of administration policy.
