Alfred Sommer Professorship Dedication
The Alfred Sommer Professorship’s inauguaral recipient, David S. Friedman, M.D., Ph.D., M.P.H has been announced. The Professorship will be formally dedicated on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the Robert H. and Clarice Smith Building, T. Boone Pickens Atrium.

Wilmer Residents Association Day featuring the Susruta Lectureship
The annual WRA Day will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 in the Tilghman Auditorium of the Turner Building. This day will be full of scientific presentations by Wilmer Residents, Faculty and Staff. The Susruta Lectureship will be delivered by Alfred Sommer, M.D., M.H.S., former and founding director of the Dana Center for International Ophthalmology at Wilmer. At lunch, we will be recognizing Jeri Eichberg, Wilmer ER nurse who retired this year at the age of 85.

The Wilmer Residents Association Reception held annually in conjuction with AAO is scheduled for Saturday, October 16, 2010. Details of the time and location will be announced at a later date.

Robert and Maureen Feduniak Professorship
Michael Repka, M.D. will be the inauguarl recipient of the Robert and Maureen Feduniak Professorship to be dedicated on Friday, October 21, 2010 in the Robert H. and Clarice Smith Building, T. Boone Pickens Atrium.
