Join the SAIS Women's Alumni Network (SWAN) for a special evening focused on one complex country, Afghanistan, from two distinct perspectives. Sarah Sewall, Speyer Family Foundation Distinguished Scholar at the Henry A. Kissinger Center for Global Affairs, will provide expert insights about the thorny national security questions facing foreign governments and international NGOs. Beth Murphy, award-winning filmmaker from the Ground Truth Project, will provide first-hand reflections from her latest documentary, What Tomorrow Brings, which tells an incredible story of a girl’s school in rural Afghanistan and the lives that it touches. This event takes places at The New York Film Academy, 17 Battery Place.
