International Studies Affinity, Hopkins DC and YAC

The Federal Government Affinity Programs welcomes two new groups: International Studies and Capitol Hill Staffers.  Join us for Happy Hour on Thursday, August 10 at 6pm, at Hawthorne Bar to reconnect with fellow alums, meet new people, and learn about how you can get involved with helping both current students and your fellow alumni!

IS Affinity: The IS Program, together with a group of passionate alumni, are interested in forming an International Studies Affinity Group to foster a deeper sense of interconnectedness for those Hopkins engaged in international studies community. In additional to connecting with other alumni, we hope to support current students develop their international affairs careers.

Capitol Hill Staffers: If you’ve ever worked on Capitol Hill, finding your feet can be challenging! Discover other Hopkins alumni who have worked on The Hill and explore ways to connect with one another while supporting current students in discovering and securing positions on The Hill.

Recognizing that international studies and political positions often intersect with a range of other fields -- economics, political science, development, business, and tech, among others – we invite all Hopkins alumni who share an interest in international studies, politics, and their related fields are welcome to attend, regardless of one's completed major.
