Please join the Greater Hartford alumni chapter as we celebrate Johns Hopkins University’s Commemoration Day this February 22nd! On this day in 1876, Daniel Coit Gilman was inaugurated as the first president of the Johns Hopkins University. This day is now considered the founding date of the university. An Italian-style dinner will be held at DaCapo Ristorante Italiano in Avon, CT. We look forward to celebrating this historic day in our school’s history with you!
