    Johns Hopkins University Hong Kong Alumni Association (JHUHKAA) and Duke Hong Kong are proud to present 'Up Close and Personal with HK Ballet - Open Rehearsal and Drinks Reception hosted by Artistic Director, Septime Webre.' 

    Hong Kong Ballet brings to a close a season filled with passion, energy and excitement with the exhilarating HK Ballet X HK Phil: The Rite of Spring at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre from 31st May to 2nd June. Bringing together a unique cadre of international talent from Hong Kong Ballet and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, the performances will showcase Year of the Rabbit (Asian Premiere) by Justin Peck, one of the most talked-about choreographic stars in the ballet world today; the ground breaking Chroma (Hong Kong Premiere) by Wayne McGregor, the Royal Ballet's Resident Choregrapher; and The Rite of Spring (World Premiere), choreographed by Hong Kong Ballet's own Yuh Egami and Hu Song-wei Ricky. Come into our studios at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on 24th May and enjoy an explosive 45 minute working rehearsal of sections from this production; followed by a cocktail reception at our theatre lounge to end your work week on a high!
