Our guide, Margery Gordon of Arts Encounters, is curating a special edition of her popular tours just for us, highlighting artists born, trained, or working in Baltimore while illuminating international trends in contemporary and modern art. Don't miss your opportunity to experience the most important cultural event in the Americas like an art world insider!

    Registration includes a one-day pass to Art Basel, good for re-entry until 6 pm to continue exploring the fair at your leisure.

    About Arts Encounters

    Margery Gordon, founder of Arts Encounters, is a freelance journalist, art critic, curator and educator based in Miami, where she grew up amid the art community during its early stages and has been active in its continuing development. Margery has been covering Art Basel since it expanded to Miami Beach in 2001, among a wide range of cultural reporting for magazines, newspapers and websites over the last 24 years, from international publications ArtNews, Art + Auction and to South Florida guides Art Circuits, Ocean Drive and the official Art Basel Miami Beach Magazine.

    As the director and principal guide of Arts Encounters, Margery also applies her experience teaching at Barry University to conducting group tours and informative programs at cultural venues throughout South Florida for charitable organizations, businesses and individuals.
