Apulia and Amalfi Coast

With Nino Zchomelidse

September 17 - 26

Whet your appetite for this adventure in Southern Italy that features two unique coastal regions. Kissed by the Adriatic sun, Apulia has been settled since time immemorial. The Amalfi Coast, an idyllic paradise of stately mountains majestically over the Mediterranean Sea, has drawn royalty and celebrities for decades. Begin in Apulia’s Polignano a Mare, a town with a decisively Greek feel. See Alberobello’s Trulli houses, and admire baroque architecture in Lecce. Explore the fishing town of Trani, and meet the owners of a family-run olive mill during a visit. Continue to the Amalfi Coast and the charming towns of Amalfi and Positano, considered the most vertical town in Italy. In the hilltop town of Sorrento, admire lovely gardens and enjoy the lively town square. Walk through history in Pompeii and marvel at the well-preserved ruins. This Alumni Campus Abroad program includes accommodations, excursions, educational programs and an extensive meal plan with wine at dinner.
