Student Alumni Society
The Student Alumni Society is open to all undergraduates at Johns Hopkins. It focuses on bringing new traditions and events to the Homewood campus and to improve the overall undergraduate experience.
Mission
The Johns Hopkins University Student Alumni Society exists to educate students about the traditions, history and mission of the university and the Alumni Association, to forge connections between students and alumni and to inspire life-long loyalty to the institution, while promoting campus-wide engagement.
Goals
- To educate the student body regarding the history and mission of the University and the Alumni Association
- To develop effective and responsible leadership through student experience in University projects and programs, thereby enhancing the education of students and preparing them to serve as future alumni leaders
- To enrich undergraduate life at the University by generating enthusiasm and campus cohesion among the undergraduate population
- To celebrate the role of philanthropy in funding the education of students, the cultivation of life-long capacity for learning, and in bringing the benefits of learning and discovery to the world
