Weekend Overview:
Johns Hopkins University has recognized the importance of reuniting its Homewood alumni community since it first officially celebrated Reunion and Homecoming in the late 1800's.
Traditionally celebrated in the Spring, Reunion and Homecoming share the same weekend. Reunions are celebrated on a five year cycle while Homecoming is an annual event for non-reunion classes.
The weekend, featuring great camaraderie and many fun activities for alumni and their families, draws 3400 guests to offerings ranging from the Alumni College program to the Jr. Jays Lacrosse Clinic.
Reunion 2009: Homecoming at Homewood is April 17-19, 2009. A weekend highlight will be the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays (2007 NCAA Champions) vs the Maryland Terrapins lacrosse game Saturday afternoon. Check the reunion website www.alumni.jhu.edu/reunion for a schedule of all the activities! |
