(Choice of four)

Social Media for Business and Pleasure
Join us for a lively discussion of social media and other technologies that are changing the way you interact with your friends, family, colleagues, and customers. How will you stay on top of these technologies? During the workshop, you will review trends in social media, explore emerging applications, learn how others are managing these challenges, and reflect on how social media technologies can be applied for business and pleasure. Our presenters will lead an interactive conversation about the tactics you can take back to your role and organization.

Women and the Art of Negotiation
Negotiation is a fundamental business skill and the negotiation skills men and women use to achieve their goals in business can differ in subtle yet important ways. Please join fellow alumnae and friends for an interactive workshop led by Carey Business School Professor Stacey Lee, J.D. and explore the strategies and tools women can employ to achieve the success they deserve and be more effective leaders.

At the Carey Business School, Stacey teaches Business Law, Legal Foundations of Health Care, and Negotiations. In 2012 and 2014 the graduating Johns Hopkins MPH/MBA cohorts awarded Stacey the Excellence in Teaching Award for her Negotiation and Business Law courses.

Navigating the Waters of Career Change: Tools to Chart Your Success
Change, whether planned or unexpected, can be a challenge to navigate; but is a fundamental part of professional and personal growth. Whether one is seeking a promotion or new responsibilities, moving to a new sector or (re-)defining their direction; there are some proven strategies that will help you process and manage your career transition. This session will explore various scenarios and examine the possible strategies to get you where you want to be.

Personal Financial Planning, Retirement Planning, Investment Planning: Making it all fit
This panel/Q&A will help attendees understand the confusing financial advisor landscape, and help them answer the question – “How can I find an appropriate financial planner who acts in my best interest?” It will also cover financial planning – including the areas of retirement planning, investment planning, risk/insurance planning, and tax planning. Attendees will benefit from learning how expert, objective, fiduciary advice in these areas can significantly increase their net worth and get their financial house in good order. There will be plenty of time for Q&A – so attendees can have their questions addressed.
